the kids’ clothing issue
WE WANT YOUR VOTES. Does creating gender neutral clothing simply mean erasing feminine touches? Is this right? Why are boys in “feminine” clothing so difficult to accept? Why is the colour pink so contentious? Your daughter probably wears trousers, but if your son wore a skirt would society be as accepting? A girl in a blue top and jeans rarely raises questions about her sexuality. Why does a boy in “feminine” clothing need to raise questions about his sexuality? Why is exploring the masculine normal for girl but exploring the feminine linked so strongly to sexuality in boys?
